The 5th Regional SUPERteams event will be hosted by Springburn Harriers.
Athletes will compete in 75m sprint, long jump and turbo javelin events, with a fun, non scoring, 4 x 100m at the end of the competition, while we add up all the points.
Athletes will compete individually in pools. The top 3 male and female athletes will be recognised as well as the top 3 teams. Teams will be determined by the top 4 athletes from each club (either as 2 girls, 2 boys or 3 girls, one boy) then the next four as the B team as so on. The top 8 teams from each heat will qualify for the final. A club cannot have more than 3 teams qualify.
Age Groups
Under 12: Born between 1 Jan 2013 - 2 June 2015
NB: due to a change in the U12 Age Group by Scottish Athletics, athletes born between 1st September and 31st December 2012 will no longer be eligible for the Superteams final on the 22nd June 2024, but are more than welcome to take part in the Regional Heat at Bishopbriggs.
Athletes must be at least 9 years old on the day of the event to participate.
