Inter District XC Champs and UK Cross Challenge
Inter District Teams
Inter District teams for East, West and North of Scotland will be selected by District Reps following the District Cross Country Championships on the weekend of 3rd December.
Athletes representing their district will receive a complementary entry into the Inter District and UK Cross Challenge race in their respective age group and are not required to complete an entry. Athletes representing Scottish Student Sport and North England will also receive a complementary entry.
Entries close at 5pm on Wednesday 4th January.
No late entries will be accepted.
All athletes must compete for their first claim (Scottish) club or their school/university club (if affiliated).
All Athletes who compete MUST be current members of scottishathletics or their National Governing Body on the day of the race.
Individuals or Team managers will not be able to enter athletes without a valid membership online, so it is important that membership validity is checked well in advance of the closing date. There will be no entry extensions for membership renewals.

Cross Challenge points will be awarded in all races. U20 athletes participating in the 8km Senior Race will be eligible for Senior Cross Challenge points only.

Competition Information
Approximate race distances for each age group are as follows:
- U13 – 3km
- U15 – 4km
- U17 – 6km
- U20 World Athletics – 6km (18/19 on 31/12/23)
- U20 UK Athletics – 8km
- Sen/Mas – 8km
