Short Course XC
Entries
Entries close at 5pm on Thursday 19th October. No late entries will be accepted.
All entries must be submitted online, through the club or individual portal. No late entries will be accepted. If you experience online entry problems, please email: events@scottishathletics.org.uk before 5pm on the closing date. Emails submitted after this time will not be accepted as an entry.
Successful entries are accompanied by a confirmation email, if this is not received then please contact us as soon as possible.
All athletes must compete for their first claim (Scottish) club or their school/university club (if affiliated).
Athletes who compete in a scottishathletics championship MUST be current members of scottishathletics on the day of the race. Individuals or team managers will not be able to enter athletes without a valid membership online, so it is important that membership validity is checked well in advance of the closing date. There will be no entry extensions for membership renewals.
Competition Information
Approximate race distances for each age group are as follows:
- U15 – 2km
- U17 – 3km
- U20/Sen/Mas – 4km
Medals
Individual medals are awarded to the first three in each category. Masters medals are awarded to the first three in each 10 year age band.
U20 and Masters athletes are eligible for Senior medals as well as in their own category.
Team Medals – Senior 4 to count, all other races 3 to count. There are no team medals for U20 or Masters teams.
