Information for Spectators and Coaches

Ayr Start Lists and Live Results available HERE

Please be aware that this season’s indoor events take place in venues intended for training. This means none have spectator stands or viewing areas for competition. Instead, space will be made available within the competition area at each of these indoor venues to accommodate a limited number of coaches and spectators, in addition to balcony spaces in some venues. Any spectators attending must be aware that priority on the field of play must be given to competing athletes, and they must follow the directions of officials and event staff at all times whilst within the competition area.

Spectator places are offered on a first come first served basis, with priority bookings open to coach members of scottishathletics.  Waiting lists will be in operation should maximum capacity be reached.

Coach Members - online booking from 10am Monday 8th January

Others - online booking from 10am Monday 15th January

Spectator access is limited to one coach/spectator per account. This means attendees cannot purchase multiple tickets for the same session. It is recommended that young children are not brought along as spectators due to restrictions on numbers permitted within the venue and the proximity of spectator areas to competition.

Additional spectator space will be available on the balconies at Pitreavie and Aberdeen. Access to these can be booked through the same process. Further outdoor viewing space is also available at Ayr and Aberdeen through the trackside windows, which does not require a booking.

Spectator places can be booked on a per-session basis. Please check before booking which session(s) the athlete you are supporting is competing in. All attendees will be issued a wristband per session. Those attending two sessions on the same day will be required to clear the arena at the end of session 1 to then report to admissions again for access to the next session.

Spectator spaces in all facilities will offer standing room only. Should anyone require special arrangements, please contact events@scottishathletics.org.uk at the time of booking.

Cost:

Coach Member of scottishathletics: FREE

Non-coach members and general spectators: online £3, to a maximum of £6 per weekend.

On the day admission is subject to availability only and will cost £5 per person.
