Spectators are welcome at all scottishathletics events.
Doors Open at 0830hrs via the first floor concourse (Level 3)
Due to the heightened UK security level bag checks will be in operation at the Emirates Arena.
Cost of Admission is £5 per person, Under 16's are FREE
NOTE: Suitcase and Pushchairs are not permitted within the seating area of the Emirates.


All entries must be submitted online, through the individual or club portals.

There will be no entries accepted on the day due to the volume of pre-entries.


Entries closed at midnight on Thursday 9th January. No late entries will be accepted.

Entry Cost: Seniors £12 per event, U17 £10.50 per event


Please note, you will not be able to enter if your membership to scottishathletics is out of date, and/or if you have any other outstanding monies due to scottishathletics. If your membership has expired, or is set to expire before the date of the competition, you must renew your membership in order to be eligible to enter.


If entering from outside Scotland, you may enter this event however you need to either be a member of scottishathletics OR a member of your National Governing Body.


Event Information:

Under 17 Women Long Jump - A maximum of 24 entries will be accepted.
Athletes with a verified performance of 4m40 or better in 2019 will be guaranteed a place at the Championships if entry exceeds capacity. Verified performances are those shown on the Power of 10 website.

Athletes wishing to enter an event that has reached capacity can sign up to the waiting list online. You will be contacted if spaces become available.

Please note provisional starting heights and progressions when entering, as detailed by age group below.

Affiliation and Age Groups:

  • Athletes who do not have a Scottish Club affiliation, on the provision they are a member of their National Governing Body, can compete for their non-Scottish Club at the Championships.
  • scottishathletics athletes who, in addition to being a member of a Scottish Club, are also members of a non-Scottish Club should compete for their Scottish Club at all scottishathletics events.
  • scottishathletics athletes who are members of more than one Scottish Club can choose which club they intend to represent this must be done at the point of entry.  This is regardless of their membership status of each club (1st/2nd claim).
  • Athletes may only compete for one Scottish Club at scottishathletics Championship events over the course of any competition year. (Running annually from 1st October).  i.e. Athletes must compete for the same club in District and National Championships. (Except Track and Field Relays)


Age Groups
Under 15: Born between 1 Sept 2005 - 31 Aug 2007
U15's may compete as U17's in these championships, but must adhere to U15 event restrictions.
Under 17: Born between 1 Sept 2003 - 31 Aug 2005
Under 20: Born between 1 Jan 2001 - 31 Aug 2003
U20's may compete as Seniors in these championships, but must adhere to U20 event restrictions.
Senior: Born on or before 31 Dec 2000
Masters: 35 and over on day of competition. Compete as Seniors at this event.

In accordance with UKA Rules of Competition, Rule 141 S1 and Rule 21 S4(6)

- U15's may enter up to 3 events, a maximum of 2 of these can be track events.
- U15 athletes are only permitted to enter one of 200m OR 300m/400m OR 800m OR 1500m events.
- Triple Jump restrictions: 9m and 7m boards will be available only.  Run Ups will be

restricted to a maximum distance of 22m from the take off board.


- U17s may compete in a maximum of 3 events.
- Triple Jump - only the following Take Off Boards will be available - U17M 9m + 11m / U17W 7m + 9m
- U17M Pole Vault Starting Height 2m14-2m34-2m54-2m69-2m84 and 10cms thereafter
- U17W Pole Vault Starting Height 2m14-2m34-2m54-2m69-2m84 and 10cms thereafter
- U17M High Jump Starting Height 1m39 and will rise in 5cm increments.
- U17W High Jump Starting Height 1m29 and will rise in 5cm increments.

- U20's may compete in a maximum of 4 events.

- Triple Jump - only the following Take Off Boards will be available - Sen Men 11m + 13m / Sen Women 9m + 11m
- SW Pole Vault Starting Height 2m54-2m74-2m94-3m09-3m24 and 10cms therafter.

- SM Pole Vault Starting Height 3m94-4m14-4m34-4m49-4m64 and 10cms therafter.
- SW High Jump Starting Height 1m39 and increase in 5cm progressions.
- SM High Jump Starting Height 1m69 and increase in 5cm progressions.

athletics reserve the right to review and amend Terms & Conditions without prior notice or consultation.
As a policy,
scottishathletics do not provide refunds. However, if an event receives less than 3 entries, the Championship Committee reserve the right to cancel that event and if no other suitable arrangement can be made, a refund may be offered.


 Entry Terms and Conditions

All entrants, either by Team Manager or Individually are asked to confirm agreement to the following conditions:

  1. Permission that photographs may be taken and used for PR/Marketing purposes.
  2. Permission for doping control tests to be carried out in accordance with the set procedures and regulations concerning such testing. https://www.ukad.org.uk/anti-doping-rules
  3. Entered athletes are medically fit to compete, have no medical issues or disability that would endanger themselves or others by taking part and will not compete unless fit to do so on the day.

Exceptions to these conditions must be communicated to events@scottishathletics.org.uk following the entry.
