Due to the ongoing Covid19 Pandemic, scottishathletics have regretfully cancelled all formal Track & Field Championships for Summer 2020. In their place will be a series of National Open Meetings. These events will include a limited Track & Field Programme and will be conducted in line with government guidelines. Athletes should read the latest scottishathletics Athletes’ Guidance before submitting their entry.

Sunday 6th September – 100m/800m/Shot Put/Long Jump
Entries open Schedule:
1000hrs Monday 24th August – U15, U17, U20, Senior and Masters Athletes
1000hrs Wednesday 26th August – U13, U15, U17, U20, Senior and Masters Athletes
Entries Close: Midnight Thursday 27th August
This is a closed event for scottishathletics members only.
This is a closed doors event with no spectators allowed.
Under 18 athletes only may be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Entry Limits and Weighting
100m 306 entries will be accepted
800m 234 entries will be accepted
Long Jump 70 entries will be accepted
Shot Put 35 entries will be accepted
Athletes are limited to ONE event only at any single meeting within the series.
Senior, U20 and U17 athletes will be given priority places over other age groups.
Followed by U15 and Masters athletes.
Athletes wishing to enter an event that has reached capacity will be added to the waiting list online. You will be contacted if spaces become available. Athletes on the waiting list will be ranked by age and recent performance, and will be offered spaces in that order should they become available. As restrictions are lifted, it may also be possible to provide more entries in individual events. scottishathletics members will also be offered priority places from any waiting list.

Athletes should declare their expected performance as accurately as possible within their entry to ensure the best possible seeding of races and bands. Athletes who do not enter a seed mark are at risk of being seeded together in mixed ability races and bands. Times that cannot be verified on www.thepowerof10.info may be removed. An athlete's best performance in the last two years will be considered.
All track races will be run in lanes. Each heat will have a maximum of 6 athletes
Field Event Bands will be split into groups of 5 athletes. Horizontal jumps and throws athletes will receive a maximum of 4 competition trials.
Affiliation and Age GroupPlease note, you will not be able to enter if your membership to scottishathletics is out of date and/or if you have any other outstanding monies due to scottishathletics. If your membership has expired, or is set to expire before the date of the competition, you must renew your membership in order to be eligible to enter.
If entering from outside of Scotland, you may enter this event. However, you need to either be a member of scottishathletics OR a member of your National Governing Body, providing your 7-digit membership number on your online entry form.
Athletes may compete for their First Claim, Second Claim or University/School Club in these events.

Entry Terms and Conditions
All entrants, either by team manager or individually, by entering confirm agreement to the following conditions:
1. Permission that photographs may be taken and used for PR/Marketing purposes.
2. Permission for doping control tests to be carried out in accordance with the set procedures and regulations concerning such testing: https://www.ukad.org.uk/anti-doping-rules
3. Entered athletes are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to compete, have no medical issues or disability that would endanger themselves or others by taking part and will not compete unless fit to do so on the day.
4. Entered athletes are responsible for ensuring they are aware of procedures in place for the safety of themselves and others at this event, and agree to follow all guidance provided.
